I remember looking at the ocean as a kid and thinking that is was a vast and empty space; a peaceful, tranquil watery void. As I’ve spent more time in her I’ve learned just how much life there is in every square foot!
The sea is teeming with living beings from the tiniest organisms to the largest creatures in Earth. I painted this piece to celebrate the minuscule, prehistoric and often overlooked creatures that the sea holds in her tumultuous but loving embrace. As light penetrates the layers of water the little invisible critters become Visible and I realize just how very ALIVE every inch of saltwater is.

All of my giclee prints on canvas arrive pre stretched on a 1.5 inch thick wooden frame and with the image continuing around the side of the artwork. Adding an additoinal frame can add a luxurious touch, but I design every piece to be "wall ready" and to look great hanging in your home or business without further preparation.
